“I like to play with depth. Recognisable and unrecognisable stuff are seen in my work. I like to mix those up. With just my paintbrush it is really good.”

“In my paintings, I experiment with formal elements. I love spatiality, colour and my gesture and how they are related. The brushstroke is a spontaneous and an intuitive energy, that you can see throughout my work. I studied painting at Camberwell College London and AKV St. Joost Den Bosch. It was so interesting to see these different perspectives on painting. To truly paint, means to be free in it.”
